Job Description
Primary Skill Set
- Responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts.
- Test Script Development: Create and maintain Manual test scripts for functional and regression testing, ensuring coverage of critical business processes.
- Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing Manual testing and have good end-to-end business processes within complex enterprise applications and hands on experience in interfaces like Web, Excel and PDF.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and business analysts, to understand testing requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Contribute to test planning activities by identifying test scenarios, defining test objectives, and estimating efforts required for automation tasks.
- Execute automated test scripts, analyze test results, and work closely with the team to troubleshoot and resolve issues identified, should have hands on experience in unattended executions
- Create and maintain documentation related to test scripts, test data, and test results to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure traceability and have good knowledge in management tools like Micro Focus ALM and Jira.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in test automation, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conduct regular regression testing to ensure software quality and identify any potential impacts of changes to existing functionality.
- Possess strong communication skills to convey test status, issues, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, fostering effective collaboration within the team.
