Job Description

The Data Developer is a mid-level technical contributor responsible for building, maintaining, and supporting data pipelines and reporting solutions that serve clinical, operational, and financial needs across 300+ ASCs. Primary Responsibilities:

Data Pipeline Development

  - Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL Server, SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, Airflow, and dbt
  - Ensure timely and accurate data movement across systems
  - Monitor pipeline health and escalate issues proactively
  - Participate in peer reviews and contribute to performance tuning
Reporting & Data Delivery

  - Support reporting via SSRS, Power BI, and Tableau
  - Validate data accuracy and ensure reports meet stakeholder needs
  - Collaborate with analytics teams to deliver actionable insights

  - Document pipeline logic, dependencies, and support procedures

Databases - SQL Server, Azure SQL, Snowflake
ETL/ELT - SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Airflow, dbt
Reporting - SSRS, Power BI, Tableau
DevOps & CI/CD - Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise
Monitoring & Metadata - Grafana, DataHub
Modeling & Architecture - ER/Studio, Visio
Cloud & Containers - Azure, Kubernetes
Security & Compliance - HIPAA, ITIL, ServiceNow
Other Tools - Redgate Toolbelt, Power Automate
