Global Service Desk Engineer

Base Location -Kolkata (Remote)

Technical Skills:
Familiarity with Windows, Linux, and iOS operating systems.
Skilled in MS Office or equivalent productivity tools.
Knowledge of web-based hosting platforms and applications.
Familiarity with network monitoring tools, VPN configurations, and content filtering.
Experience with desktop sharing and remote control tools.
Understanding of workstation, network, and application security controls.
Knowledge of ITIL framework and ITSM tools (Ivanti, ServiceNow, etc.).

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to make informed decisions quickly and multitask effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proactive, self-motivated, and thrives in a collaborative environment.


Experience & Education:
Minimum 2 years of prior service desk experience (Senior: 35 years with escalation responsibilities).
B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related discipline (preferred, not mandatory).
Training/certifications in hardware, networking, or application technologies.
Ability to work remotely and in rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
Preferred certifications: ITIL Foundation, CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent.
