Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Presales Engineer Network & Security who can design, position, and present secure, scalable, and high-performance enterprise networking and security solutions.
The ideal candidate must have strong technical expertise across Routing & Switching, Wireless, Security, SD-WAN, and Cloud Security, along with proven experience in customer-facing presales engagements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct technical discovery sessions, requirement workshops & solution positioning
  • Prepare HLD/LLD, BOM, solution proposals, and architecture documents
  • Deliver presentations, demos, and POCs to customers
  • Respond to RFP/RFI, create solution write-ups, and technical validations
  • Perform sizing, costbenefit analysis, and ROI justification
  • Collaborate with OEMs for deal registration and solution validation
  • Engage with CXO-level stakeholders with strong articulation & presentation skills
  • Support Sales team in winning enterprise & government opportunities

Technical Expertise Required

Enterprise Networking

  • Routing & Switching (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, VRF, QoS)
  • Cisco Catalyst/Nexus, Aruba, Juniper, Arista
  • L2/L3 design, VLANs, STP, HSRP/VRRP/GLBP
  • VXLAN, EVPN designs

WAN & SD-WAN

  • Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela/Meraki), Fortinet, Versa, Aruba
  • Hybrid WAN (MPLS/DIA/LTE), resiliency design, cloud on-ramp

Wireless

  • WLAN design (Cisco WLC/Meraki/Aruba/Ruckus)
  • RF planning, surveys, roaming optimization
  • 802.1X, NAC, WIPS

Security

  • NGFW: Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco Firepower, Sophos
  • IPS/IDS, URL filtering, SSL decryption
  • VPN: IPSec, SSL, AnyConnect, GlobalProtect, Zscaler ZPA
  • NAC: Cisco ISE, ClearPass, FortiNAC
  • Cloud Security: SASE, CASB, Prisma/Zscaler/FortiSASE
  • SIEM: Splunk, QRadar, FortiSIEM | EDR/XDR platforms

Compliance

  • Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, GDPR

Soft Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent communication, presentation & storytelling skills
  • Strong customer handling & stakeholder management
  • Ability to work on multiple presales pursuits simultaneously
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset
  • Strong documentation & proposal writing skills

Education

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering/Technology (preferred)
  • Industry certifications: CCNP/CCIE/PCNSE/Fortinet NSE/Aruba/Juniper (added advantage)
