Job Description
Job SummaryThe Factory Security Specialist will be responsible for implementing and maintaining physical security measures to safeguard the factory premises, personnel, and assets. This position requires a strong understanding of industrial security standards and best practices to ensure a safe and secure working environment.
Roles and Responsibilities - Implement and manage physical security systems (CCTV, access control, perimeter security).
- Monitor security alerts and surveillance feeds, responding promptly to incidents.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with safety and security policies.
- Collaborate with operations and safety teams to enforce security protocols.
- Respond to and investigate security breaches, thefts, or unauthorized access, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and incident reports.
- Train factory staff on security awareness and emergency response procedures.
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for critical security incidents.
- Stay updated on latest security technologies and industrial safety standards.
- 3-6 years of experience in industrial or factory security management.
- Strong knowledge of physical security systems (CCTV, biometric access, alarm systems).
- Experience in handling emergency situations and crisis management.
- Familiarity with safety compliance standards (ISO, OSHA).
- Knowledge of fire safety and evacuation protocols.
- Willingness to relocate to Chennai or Bangalore.
- Availability to work in rotational shifts.
- Readiness to participate in 24/7 emergency response calls.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- High attention to detail and proactive mindset.
