Job Description
Prepare and maintain documentation of network configurations, rack layouts, topologies, processes and procedures
Design, deploy, configure and administer the LAN ( Routers, Switches, Load Balancers and Firewalls ) WAN and WLAN infrastructure and their supporting systems
Recommend upgrades, patches and equipments when needed to address potential security holes and vulnerabilities
Proactive monitoring of all network devices and links using a combination of tools to ensure high availability and SLAs
Engage in regular network troubleshooting activities and resolve network connectivity issues
Understand and analyze the current network structure and share ideas on how to make the network more efficient
Work closely with team members to determine future network needs and plan for network changes
Create projects that are designed to either meet functional requirements or to address ongoing network failure issues
Interfacing with fellow team members to manage and assist problems
Assist in developing, implementing, testing, and maintaining disaster recovery plans
Require continuous learning and to maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging tools and technologies
Research, evaluate and recommend technologies to support business requirements
Follow ITIL principles
Provide on-call and weekend support when necessary
Attend and actively participate in team meetings
Perform other duties as assigned
