Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Management: Manage and maintain on-premise and cloud infrastructure environments (Azure)
- Server Administration: Perform installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Microsoft Windows Servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Cloud Operations: Support migration, monitoring, and optimization of workloads across cloud platforms (IaaS, PaaS).
- Automation: Implement automation for repetitive administrative tasks using PowerShell, CLI, or related tools.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure system security, patch management, and compliance with organizational standards.
- Monitoring and Performance: Use monitoring tools to identify performance bottlenecks and optimize system performance.
- Collaboration: Work with internal teams, vendors, and project stakeholders to ensure reliable service delivery and timely issue resolution.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate infrastructure and operational documentation, SOPs, and change logs.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, and Azure cloud services.
- Knowledge of network fundamentals firewalls, VPN, routing, and load balancing.
- Familiarity with infrastructure automation and scripting (PowerShell or Bash preferred).
- Understanding of backup, DR, and high availability concepts.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications (Preferred): Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Associate, ITIL Foundation.
- Experience: 3-4 years of experience in server and cloud infrastructure management and operations.
