RGP is looking for a experienced and talented technology professional to join to join our growing Enterprise Applications IT team. Working closely with RGP s Enterprise Applications Team you will help in the support and development our Salesforce environment as well as other sales supporting processes and systems. In this role, along our Admin team, you will be responsible for leading the ongoing development of our salesforce deployment.We are looking for an enthusiastic, hands-on developer and leader who enjoys working with internal customers at all levels. Someone that is talented at identifying, communicating, and creating software solutions and are adept at troubleshooting and quickly solving technical problems with existing systems. As an integral member of a global team you will collaborate with other internal and external Salesforce resources. You will be able to apply your talents to problems ranging from new solutions development to supporting our existing deployment and integrations, helping drive business success in the process.
Job Description
Primary Functions:
- Work closely with Salesforce Admins, functional leaders, users, and subject matter experts in developing solutions and deploying new business processes for RGP.
- Execute on technical aspects of Salesforce, including data migrations, data quality, systems integrations, 3rd party applications, AppExchange products, and custom code.
- Responsible for developing in Visualforce, Apex, Java, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and other technologies to build customized solutions that support business requirements and drive key business decisions.
- Provides technical leadership, setting best practices including integration and application development, deployment, testing (unit and systems), and iterative refinement.
- Seek out ways to utilize SFDC to improve processes and productivity, and make recommendations to support an organization scaling at a rapid pace
- Define, communicate, and manage a change management (release) process to develop and implement new applications/code and updates to existing applications/code.
- Responsible for the continued successful operation of Salesforce applications, integrations and tools.
- Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests.
- Work with our management team to establish suitable processes to support administrative, development, and change management activities.
- Work independently with members of the Salesforce team to define and document development requirements.
- Manage multiple in-flight projects that have different timelines and may utilize different solutions.
- Hands-on development, testing and deployment of new solutions; maintenance and troubleshooting of existing solutions.
- Ability to troubleshoot production issues and propose solutions.
- Oversee technical aspects of the development performed by external vendors, ensuring the appropriate standards are adopted and implemented.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 7+ years Salesforce experience with focus on Sales Cloud and Salesforce Lightning, development including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, Controllers and Components, Flows and Process builder, Integration knowledge and experience.
- Expertise in data model design and implementation of custom objects, custom fields, page layouts, record types, custom labels, custom settings, and custom metadata types.
- Highly proficient with Salesforce Lightning Sales Cloud Unlimited and Outlook Integration (Lightning Sync and Inbox). Development of custom objects within Salesforce.
- Lightning Development
- Knowledge of JavaScript and CSS, REST/SOAP webservices.
- Environment Management and Migration experience utilizing Change Sets, Salesforce DX and DevOps Center, and other third-party tools and DevOps tools such as ANT, Gearset, or Copado.
- Demonstrated expertise and experience with CRM applications and relational database applications in professional services.
- A proven track record within sales operations, data management and salesforce administrative support is required.
- Knowledge of SQL, SOQL, EXCEL, JSON, ETL, and Salesforce release processes.
- Capable of interpreting business requirements into technical applications.
- Ability to create strong documentation and workflow diagrams.
- Experience with product design, integrated testing, migrations and implementation/release processes. Strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience or knowledge of creating custom reports and dashboards within Salesforce platform.
- Experience working in Agile Methodology and utilizing Jira or other Agile project management tools.
- Exposure / Experience with Visualforce, Force.com, third party integrations
- Experience with API gateway integrations, and import / export to databases, and report generation.
- Familiarity with analytics, database structures and technologies
- Experience with BitBucket, Git, TFS, or other source control platforms.
- Experience leveraging and configuring AppExchange products to develop a solution
- Salesforce.com Developer 1 certification (required)
- Salesforce Administrator Certification Preferred
- Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent working experience.
