Customized JD For - IT Automation Engineer

Summary- IT automation engineer who has a ability to develop and support automation solutions for IT systems across cloud and on-prem environments. This role involves Software development, Observability, be part of on-call rotation, troubleshoot incidents, and supporting automation platforms.

Must-Have:

• Coding using Python or Go Lang
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or SaltStack
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure (servers, networks, cloud platforms)
• Full-stack development (web apps and APIs)
• Troubleshooting and root cause analysis
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent exp
• 7+ years of experience in IT Automation or Software Development

Good-to-Have:

• Experience with Victoria Metrics, Nautobot, Grafana, BigPanda, Loki, Ansible Automation Platform
• On-call support experience in 12-hour shift

Day To Day - Responsibilities

• Develop and support automation platforms for IT operations
• Monitor and resolve incidents and support reported requests
• Document standards, build dashboards, write alerts Automate and remediate frequently occurring issues
