Engineer Data Center @ Mindsprint

Job Description

• Design and implement end-to-end cloud architecture solutions to migrate on-premises applications, servers, and databases to AWS.
• Assess existing infrastructure and develop detailed migration strategies, including re-hosting, re-platforming, or re-architecting approaches.
• Plan and execute migrations using AWS services such as AWS Migration Hub, Application Migration Service, Database Migration Service (DMS), and CloudEndure.
• Ensure security and compliance by implementing IAM, encryption, network segmentation (VPC design), and monitoring per AWS best practices.
• Optimize cost and performance by selecting appropriate AWS instance types, storage tiers, and auto-scaling configurations.
• Collaborate with application, network, and security teams to ensure smooth transition and minimal downtime during migration.
• Develop automation scripts and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) templates using CloudFormation or Terraform for repeatable and scalable deployments.
• Provide technical leadership and documentation throughout migration lifecycle, including architecture diagrams, runbooks, and operational handover.
