Nursing Tutor @ Paras Health

Job Description

Role & responsibilities:

• Develop and conduct orientation programs for newly joined nursing staff.
  
• Plan, organize, and deliver continuing nursing education (CNE) sessions and skill enhancement workshops.
  
• Assess training needs through observation, feedback, and performance reviews.
  
• Prepare and update training materials, SOPs, and clinical guidelines as per hospital policies and regulatory standards.
  
• Conduct competency assessments and maintain staff training records.
  
• Collaborate with Nursing Supervisors and the Quality Department to ensure compliance with NABH/JCI standards.
  
• Support infection control, patient safety, and quality improvement initiatives through staff education.
  
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and provide reports to management.
  
• Mentor and guide nursing staff to maintain professional standards and ethical practices.
  
• Participate in audits, drills, and other hospital-wide training activities.

Preferred candidate profile:

• Strong clinical knowledge and teaching skills.
  
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  
• Ability to assess learning needs and design effective training programs.
  
• Good computer literacy (MS Office, PowerPoint).
  
• Leadership and mentoring abilities.
  
• Knowledge of quality and accreditation standards (NABH/JCI preferred).
