Job Description
Role Overview
The EDI Developer will be a key contributor within the Integrations team, responsible for the design, development, onboarding, and operational support of EDI solutions supporting Enoviss global B2B landscape. This role will focus on EDI mapping, partner onboarding, transaction monitoring, and production support, leveraging enterprise platforms such as IBM Sterling Integrator and Oracle ERP.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical EDI expertise with a service-oriented mindset and enjoys working across business, IT, and external partners in a fast-growing global organization.
Key Responsibilities:
EDI Development & Integration
- Design, develop, test, and maintain EDI maps and business processes using IBM Sterling Integrator
- Build and support EDI transactions across the X12 800 series, including Orders, Invoices, ASNs, and Acknowledgements
- Develop mappings across multiple standards and formats:
- ANSI X12
- EDIFACT
- PEPPOL
- VDA
- Positional / Flat File
- XML
- Manage EDI enveloping, codelists, validations, and standards compliance
- Support secure connectivity protocols including AS1, AS2, SFTP, and APIs
Trading Partner Onboarding & Collaboration
- Lead and support EDI trading partner onboarding activities end-to-end
- Coordinate with business stakeholders, customers, logistics providers, and external partners to gather requirements and validate integrations
- Execute partner testing, certification, and production cutover activities
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to partners as needed
ERP & Supply Chain Integration
- Support EDI integrations with Oracle ERP, including inbound and outbound transaction flows
- Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (R12) is highly desirable
- Collaborate with ERP, Supply Chain, and Logistics teams to ensure accurate transaction processing
- Support EDI flows related to shipping and logistics (3PL / 4PL) environments
Production Support & Operations
- Provide day-to-day operational support for EDI production environments
- Monitor, reconcile, and resolve transaction failures and exceptions
- Reprocess failed transactions (Orders, Invoices, ASNs, Acknowledgements) as needed
- Maintain and review daily reconciliation reports
- Manage and respond to requests via the EDI/Integration support inbox
- Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications & Experience
Education & Experience
- Bachelors degree in a Technical or related field with 24 years of professional experience, or
- 4+ years of relevant professional technical experience, or
- An equivalent combination of education and experience
Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with IBM Sterling Integrator
- Proven expertise in full lifecycle EDI development (design, build, test, deploy, support)
- Solid experience with X12 800 series transactions
- Strong understanding of EDI standards, codelists, and enveloping
- Experience integrating EDI with Oracle ERP systems
- Knowledge of secure transport protocols (AS1, AS2, SFTP, APIs)

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues
- Self-starter who delivers high-quality work independently and collaboratively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English required)
- Ability to work effectively across IT, business, and external partners
- Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to learn new technologies and processes
- Comfortable supporting global operations, including flexible schedules to support US and EU time zones
