Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a ServiceNow Tester to ensure the quality, functionality, and reliability of the ServiceNow platform. The tester will design, execute, and maintain both manual and automated test cases for ServiceNow applications and integrations, working closely with developers, business analysts, and administrators to ensure that all configurations meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute test cases for ServiceNow modules, workflows, and integrations.
- Perform manual and automated testing of new and existing functionalities.
- Validate business processes across ServiceNow modules like ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, etc.
- Utilize ServiceNows Automated Test Framework (ATF) for developing automated test scripts.
- Conduct functional, regression, performance, and integration testing.
- Document and report test results and collaborate with the development team to resolve defects.
- Ensure compliance with ServiceNow best practices for testing and platform maintenance.
- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in ServiceNow testing, with expertise in manual and automated testing.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ATF for automation.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow modules and platform architecture.
- Proficiency in JavaScript for writing and executing test scripts.
- Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium or Postman for API testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- Experience with API testing and tools like REST/SOAP.
- Knowledge of DevOps and continuous testing practices.
