Job Description

ITI/Diploma in Electrical with 3 or 5 years in industrial electrical maintenance.

Mandatory experience in MHC/RTG electrical systems.

Strong knowledge of PLC circuits, drives, and industrial wiring.

Electrical Maintenance

Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical and control systems.
Inspect switchboards, MCC panels, VFDs, motors, slipring assemblies, and cable reels.
Troubleshoot faults in crane electrical circuits, emergency stop systems, sensors, and limit switches.

Crane System Expertise

Diagnose issues in MHC/RTG electrical systems, PLC boards, SCADA, control logic, and communication modules.
Assist in crane component testing, calibration, and safety interlock validation.

Breakdown Handling

Respond immediately to electrical failures affecting vessel or yard operations.
Perform temporary restorations and plan permanent repairs with engineering.

Documentation & Safety

Maintain maintenance logs for electrical jobs, spares usage, and failures.
Follow LOTO (Lock-Out/Tag-Out), high-voltage safety, and port safety norms.
