Job Description

Core responsibilities

• Design and development: Create and maintain software applications and systems using the .NET framework.
• Coding: Write, update, and debug clean, efficient, and scalable code in languages like C# and VB.NET.
• Deployment: Deploy applications to live environments.
• Collaboration: Work with project managers, designers, and other team members to gather requirements and develop solutions.
• Technical support: Provide technical support for desktop, web, and mobile applications and troubleshoot issues.
• Integration: Integrate applications with other systems, databases, and APIs.
• Maintenance: Upgrade, configure, and maintain existing systems and codebases.
• Documentation: Maintain documentation and adhere to the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Common skills and qualifications

• Proficiency in C#, VB.NET, and the .NET framework.
• Knowledge of database systems like SQL Server.
• Understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
• Experience with related technologies like ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, etc.) and containerization (Docker) can be a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
• Often requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, depending on the experience level.
