Role: GCP Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Hyderabad & Noida
Experience: 7+ Years
Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days, Serving notice period preferred

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure-as-code on GCP using Terraform and/or Crossplane.
- Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for automated infrastructure provisioning and application deployments on GCP.
- Manage and administer GCP services, including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Networking, Cloud SQL, and Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
- Implement and enforce infrastructure security best practices on GCP, leveraging services like Cloud IAM, Security Command Center, and VPC Service Controls.
- Monitor GCP infrastructure performance using Cloud Monitoring and proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand their infrastructure requirements on GCP and provide support.
- Contribute to the development of infrastructure standards and best practices for GCP.
- Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
- Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with the latest GCP technologies and tools.
- Contribute to the team's knowledge sharing and documentation efforts, particularly related to GCP.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or a related field.
- Deep understanding of infrastructure-as-code principles and experience with Terraform and/or Crossplane.
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools and platforms (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, GitHub Actions).
- Proficiency with Git and GitHub, including branching, merging, and pull requests.
- Solid understanding of cloud computing concepts and extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, Go).
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), especially on GKE.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, particularly within the GCP environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring).
- Experience with security best practices in GCP environments.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Google Cloud certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer) are a strong plus.
- Experience with GCP-specific services like Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Dataflow, or BigQuery.
