Job Description: Non-IT Team Lead (Onsite)
Role: Non-IT Team Lead
Location: Onsite HDFC ERGO, MG Road, Bangalore
Working Days: 5.5 days per week
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Non-IT Team Lead to manage and drive operational
teams for BFSI processes at HDFC ERGO. The ideal candidate will have strong exposure to
Indian banking or insurance clients and proven leadership experience in a non-technical
environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and motivate a team handling non-IT BFSI operations
- Ensure adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and quality benchmarks
- Act as the primary point of contact for client coordination and escalations
- Monitor team performance and implement process improvements
- Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and client requirements
- Prepare and share MIS reports with management and stakeholders
Key Requirements
- Prior experience working with Indian BFSI clients (banks or insurance companies)
- Proven experience as a Team Lead in non-IT operations
- Strong understanding of banking/insurance operational processes
- Excellent communication, people management, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work onsite and manage teams independently
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduation in any discipline
- Experience working in insurance operations is an added advantage
