Job Description
MERN(React+Node)
As a Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) you will be responsible for both technical design and development of our apps. As a senior engineer you'll be responsible for the mentoring of junior engineers in the skills needed for the future. Youll ensure the quality of software delivered across the team is high. You will be a champion for Software Engineering best practices and Center of Excellence standards within the lab and wider Bank. You will be working with the Team lead to design and develop solutions.
Encouraging the right culture is key and youll strive to promote a Fail Fast, Learn Faster approach within the team. Youll experiment with new ways of engineering and act as a change agent for the engineering and team culture. Youll embrace a test and learn approach, with a focus on learning and continuous improvement.
What youll need:
- Strong Expertise increating responsive UI's using React JS, Node JS.
- Proven experience in one of the cloud technologies: Azure (preferred), GCP, AWS
- Great understanding of Microservices Architecture.
- Experience working in an Agile environment (e.g., Build tools, Static/Dynamic code analysis, CI / CD pipelines).
- Great logical reasoning, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to communicate complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in a team spanning multiple locations.
Nice to have skills:
- Experience in a banking domain.
- Proven ability to work in a complex domain
