Job Description
AWS JD
Essential skills: Knowledge and experience on below:
o Key concepts of AWS security measures and AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM).
o Foundational services: Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3), and Amazon Elastic Block Store (EBS).
o Strong notions of security best practices (e.g. using IAM Roles, KMS, etc.)
o Strong Knowledge of writing infrastructure as code (IaC) using CloudFormation and Terraform
o Database services: Amazon DynamoDB and Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS)
o Management services: AWS Auto Scaling, Amazon CloudWatch, Elastic Load Balancing (ELB), and AWS Trusted Advisor
o Experience with the serverless approaches using AWS Lambda
o Pipeline( Bamboo, Terraform Enterprise, Codefresh).
o Terraform(TFE) working experience.
o Powershell/Shell Scripting/Python/GOLANG
o Linux/Unix basics
o IP Subnetting
o Experience in designing AWS Infra & VPC Networks
o Dev/Ops Experience.
o The ability and skill to train other people in procedural and technical topics
o Strong communication and collaboration skills
Soft Skills:
o Should have good communication and documentation skills
o Should be a good team player
o Should possess problem solving skills.
o Experience working in high performing squad (NWOW/Agile)
Must have skills
o Knowledge and experience in operating Palo Firewalls
o Advanced AWS networking/Firewalls
o Knowledge/experience in DB technologies.
o Container based application development
o Good understanding and previous experience on infrastructure build and support
o Good understanding of application development and support
