Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement Kubernetes-based container platforms for enterprise applications.
  
• Lead Docker containerization strategies for microservices and legacy application modernization.
  
• Design highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant Kubernetes clusters.
  
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines integrating Kubernetes and container platforms.
  
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.
  
• Ensure security best practices: RBAC, network policies, secrets management, and image scanning.
  
• Optimize container performance, resource utilization, and cost.
  
• Troubleshoot complex production issues related to containers, orchestration, and networking.
  
• Mentor DevOps engineers and provide architectural guidance.
  

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Platform Engineering roles.
  
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes architecture, deployment, and administration.
  
• Hands-on experience with Docker, container images, and registries.
  
• Experience in microservices architecture and container-based application design.
  
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
  
• Strong knowledge of Linux, networking, and system design.
  
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
  
• Exposure to monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
  

Good to Have

• Cloud platform experience: AWS / Azure / GCP (EKS, AKS, GKE).
  
• Service mesh tools: Istio, Linkerd.
  
• Helm, Kustomize, ArgoCD, or Flux.
  
• Security tools: Trivy, Aqua, Prisma, etc.
  
• Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD, CKS).
