Manager II - Legal Compliance @ Zepto

Job Description

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all applicable labor and employment laws, including those related to wages, working hours, leave, and worker safety.
• Policy Management: Formulate, update, and implement company policies in alignment with current labor laws and best practices.
• Statutory Filings: Oversee the timely submission of all required statutory filings, such as Provident Fund (PF) and Employees' State Insurance (ESI) contributions.
• Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate employee data and statutory registers, and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance and identify gaps.
• Audit Preparedness: Prepare for and manage internal and external regulatory audits, including liaising with government authorities and handling inspections.
• Training and Awareness: Organize training sessions for staff on labor laws and company compliance requirements.
• Contract Compliance: Ensure that all third-party vendors and contractors comply with relevant labor and contractual laws.
• IR/ER: Legal support to Operations and IR/ER teams
• Notices: Responding and handling notices received under various labour laws
• Advisory: Providing Legal opinion on various Labour and Employment arising from time to time11Registers: Oversee the maintenance of registers on all applicable labour laws12This resource can also extend and handle issues relating to EHS Compliances (Fire, Environmental etc)
