Job Description

Designation : Assistant Manager (Multi-Specialty Medical Coding)

Shift : Day Shift

Experience : 6-9 years of multi-specialty coding experience (e.g., E&M, surgery, radiology)

Key Responsibilities:

*Manage day-to-day coding operations, ensuring accuracy and productivity across

*Specialties like E&M, surgery, radiology, and outpatient procedures

*Supervise and mentor coders conduct audits, offer feedback, and guide their development

*Maintain compliance with coding standards (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS), HIPAA, CMS, and payer regulations

*Track workflow and performance metrics; collaborate with leadership on process improvements

*Coordinate with billing, CDI, and clinical teams to resolve documentation and coding queries

*Help develop and update coding policies, procedures, and best practices

*Professional coding certification (e.g., AAPC CPC/CEMC, AHIMA CCS).

*In-depth knowledge of ICD10CM/PCS, CPT, HCPCS, and DRG/APC coding systems.

*Strong auditing, analytical, and QA review skills.

*Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring abilities.

*Familiarity with EMR/EHR (e.g., Epic, Cerner) and coding platforms.

*Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) for reporting and analysis.
