Job Description
Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Full Stack Architect with strong expertise in Java (Spring Boot), React, and Microsoft Azure to lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, capable of defining architecture, mentoring teams, and ensuring best practices across frontend, backend, and cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Design
- Define end-to-end architecture for web applications using Java, React, and Azure
- Design scalable, modular, and cloud-native solutions
- Make architectural decisions around microservices, APIs, data modeling, security, and performance
- Review and approve technical designs, code, and deployment strategies
Backend (Java)
- Architect and develop backend services using Java 17+/21, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud
- Design RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures
- Implement batch processing, async jobs, and background workers
- Ensure performance optimization, resiliency, and fault tolerance
Frontend (React)
- Define frontend architecture using React, TypeScript
- Guide best practices for state management, component design, performance optimization
- Ensure secure and scalable UI integration with backend APIs
- Enforce UI standards, accessibility, and maintainability
Cloud & DevOps (Azure)
- Architect and deploy solutions on Microsoft Azure
- Hands-on experience with:
- Azure App Service / AKS
- Azure SQL / No SQL / Storage Accounts
- Azure AD / Entra ID (Authentication & Authorization)
- Azure Functions / Logic Apps (where applicable)
- Define CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions
- Better understanding of infrastructure as code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates)
Data & Integration
- Design relational and non-relational data models
- Optimize SQL queries, indexing strategies, and batch calculations
- Integrate with third-party systems and enterprise platforms
- Ensure data consistency, auditing, and versioning
Governance & Leadership
- Establish coding standards, architectural guidelines, and best practices
- Mentor senior and junior developers
- Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
- Support production issues and drive root-cause analysis
Required Skills
Must Have
- Java (Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, REST APIs)
- React.js with TypeScript
- Azure cloud services
- Microservices architecture
- SQL (SQL Server preferred)
- CI/CD pipelines
- Strong system design and problem-solving skills
Good to Have
- Event-driven architecture (Kafka, Azure Service Bus)
- Caching strategies (Redis, Azure Cache)
- Security best practices (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT)
- Performance tuning and scalability strategies
- Domain-driven design (DDD)
Soft Skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management
- Ability to balance hands-on development with architectural leadership
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Ability to influence technical decisions across teams
