Job Description
We are looking for a skilled AWS Data Engineer to join our team at Grid Dynamics. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and implementing data pipelines on AWS.
Roles and Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data pipelines using AWS services such as S3, Lambda, and EMR.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
- Develop and implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure data integrity.
- Optimize data processing workflows for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to data pipelines.
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.
Job Requirements
- Strong understanding of AWS services including S3, Lambda, EMR, and DynamoDB.
- Experience with data pipeline development using tools like Airflow or similar technologies.
- Knowledge of data modeling concepts and database design principles.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
