Role Overview

Birlasoft is seeking a highly skilled Technical Specialist / Lead with strong expertise in Java and Python development combined with hands on experience in ETQ Reliance platform. The ideal candidate will lead technical initiatives, design and implement solutions, and ensure seamless integration of ETQ Reliance with enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of applications using Java and Python.


• Configure, customize, and extend ETQ Reliance modules to meet business requirements.


• Collaborate with cross functional teams to integrate ETQ Reliance with enterprise systems.


• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior developers.


• Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines.


• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in ETQ Reliance and related applications.


• Participate in requirement analysis, solution design, and architecture discussions.


• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in development processes and system performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6-7 years of experience in software development.


• Strong proficiency in Java (Spring, Hibernate, REST APIs) and Python (Flask/Django, scripting).


• Hands on experience with ETQ Reliance platform (configuration, workflows, integrations).


• Solid understanding of database technologies (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).


• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is a plus.


• Strong problem solving, analytical, and debugging skills.


• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Preferred Attributes

• Prior experience in quality management systems (QMS) or compliance platforms.


• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within tight timelines.


• Strong collaboration skills with global teams.


• Certification in Java/Python or ETQ Reliance is an advantage.
