Position Overview:
The Level 3 Automation Engineer serves as the technical lead and architect for global
RMM and automation environment. This senior role designs, builds, and maintains the
automation framework across our MSP tool stack, ensuring scalability, consistency, and security
across all client environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and maintain automation workflows and integrations across ConnectWise PSA, RMM
(Asio/ScreenConnect), and related systems.
Develop and manage cross-platform API integrations (e.g., Sentinel One, Auvik, Duo,
DNSFilter, VulScan, etc.).
Architect and optimize policies and automations to improve efficiency, alert fidelity, and ticket
routing.
Oversee RMM and PSA configuration standards, global roles, and automation libraries.
Manage version upgrades, system testing, and deployment processes.
Act as final escalation point for complex automation or integration issues.
Mentor and guide Level 1 and Level 2 engineers.
Document integrations, workflows, and processes in ITGlue.
Required Skills:
5+ years in IT automation or managed service operations.
Deep expertise in ConnectWise PSA and RMM (Asio/ScreenConnect).
Strong scripting experience (PowerShell, Python, or equivalent).
Proven experience designing secure and scalable automation solutions.
Experience with Sentinel One, Auvik, Duo, DNSFilter, and other MSP tools.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
API development and integration experience.
Advanced RMM or automation certifications.
Familiarity with ITIL and MSP service delivery models.
Experience leading offshore or distributed technical teams.
