Job Description
The Senior Test Engineer will be responsible for designing, executing, and managing test plans and scripts to validate the migration, integration, and configuration of Rule Engine (CEV) and ancillary applications. This role will play a key part in ensuring that technical migrations meet functional requirements, support operational workflows, and achieve successful go-lives across multiple sites. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, maintain, and execute comprehensive test cases
Perform integration, functional, regression, and performance testing during migration phases.
Regression Automation
Collaborate with application engineers, integration teams, and clinical validators to ensure end-to-end workflow validation.
Document and track defects, issues, and test results using enterprise test management tools.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and assist clinical teams in verifying system readiness.
Validate data integrity, workflow accuracy, and image quality during system cutovers and migrations.
Partner with vendors to troubleshoot and resolve testing issues during integration or performance testing phases.
Prepare status reports and testing summaries for project managers and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations during testing activities, including HIPAA standards.
Provide knowledge transfer and mentorship to junior test engineers or analysts as needed. Experience & Skills
5+ years of experience in software and system testing, with at least 3 years in healthcare IT testing. Strong expertise in testing Medicaid Eligibility systems
Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks for functional and regression testing.
Proficiency in EDI.HL7 and other integration protocols.
Ability to analyze workflows and translate requirements into actionable test cases.
Strong documentation and defect management skills using tools such as JIRA or similar platforms.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to interface with technical, clinical, and vendor teams.
Knowledge of healthcare compliance frameworks (HIPAA).
Preferred certifications: Agile Testing, or equivalent.
