Job Title: Sales Manager CAD/CAM (NX) & CAE

Role Summary

The Sales Manager CAD/CAM (NX) & CAE will be responsible for driving revenue growth for Siemens NX CAD/CAM and CAE / Simulation solutions by managing strategic accounts, leading complex enterprise sales cycles, and collaborating closely with presales and technical teams. The role requires strong understanding of design, manufacturing, and simulation workflows and the ability to position end-to-end digital engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Revenue Leadership

  • Own revenue, pipeline, and growth targets for NX CAD, NX CAM, and CAE/Simulation portfolio.
  • Develop and execute territory and account sales strategies.
  • Drive new logo acquisition and expansion of existing customer accounts.
  • Manage large, complex, long-cycle enterprise deals.

Account & Customer Management

  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders including engineering heads, manufacturing leaders, R&D directors, and IT decision-makers.
  • Lead account planning, QBRs, and executive reviews.
  • Act as escalation point for strategic customers.
  • Ensure renewals, upgrades, cross-sell, and upsell opportunities.

Solution & Domain Leadership

  • Understand end-to-end design-to-manufacturing-to-simulation workflows.
  • Position value of NX CAD/CAM and CAE solutions in areas such as productivity, quality, automation, virtual validation, and digital twins.
  • Support technical workshops, demos, POCs, and evaluations with presales teams.

Team & Internal Collaboration

  • Mentor and guide sales specialists and coordinate with presales/application engineers.
  • Work closely with marketing, delivery, finance, and legal teams.
  • Guide pricing strategy, commercial negotiations, and contract closures.

Forecasting & Governance

  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline, forecasts, and reporting in CRM.
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes and commercial governance.
  • Provide regular sales performance updates to leadership.

Market & Partner Engagement

  • Track market trends in CAD, CAM, CAE, and digital engineering.
  • Understand competitive landscape and positioning.
  • Work with OEMs, channel partners, and system integrators.
  • Represent the company at industry events and customer forums.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 815 years of experience in enterprise sales of CAD/CAM and CAE / Simulation software.
  • Strong hands-on or solution-selling experience with Siemens NX CAD/CAM and CAE tools (e.g., Simcenter, ANSYS, Abaqus, HyperWorks, etc.).
  • Proven track record in closing large, complex engineering software deals.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing and simulation workflows.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Education

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Aerospace / Production Engineering.
  • MBA is an added advantage.
