Job Description
Exp : 7 To 10 Years
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L3 support for escalated incidents, complex troubleshooting, and root cause analysis of network issues.
- Design, implement, and optimize LAN, WAN, Data Center, and Cloud Networking solutions.
- Manage and configure static routing and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF).
- Implement and support firewalls, VPNs, and network security solutions.
- Work with ISPs, OEMs, and vendors for advanced troubleshooting and solution deployment.
- Perform network performance monitoring, capacity planning, and proactive optimization.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and policies (ISO, NIST, ITIL, etc.).
- Develop and maintain network documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base for the team.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to L1 and L2 engineers.
- Lead and support network migration, upgrades, and transformation projects (Optional).
- Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation for critical issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 6-10 years of experience in network engineering and operations.
- Strong expertise in:
- Routing & Switching
- Network Security (Firewalls - Palo Alto, Cisco ASA/FTD, Fortinet)
- Load Balancers (Appliance or Cloud based)
- Cloud Networking (AWS, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect)
- Proficiency in monitoring tools.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, IPv6, DNS, DHCP, NAT, ACLs, QoS, multicast.
- Hands-on experience with automation & scripting (Python, Terraform - preferred) - Optional.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
