System Administrator

Roles/ Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot network systems and respond to issues and or problems. Provide documentation and management reporting. Provide tactical and strategic input on overall network planning and related projects.
Support LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and Intranet systems.
Maintain network and system security
Review, analyse and evaluate business systems and user needs.
Install new software releases, system upgrades; evaluate and install patches and resolve software and OS related problems. Maintain data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity.
Performs daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, and reviews system and application logs
Performs ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required for CPU, memory, and disk management
Provide user support as required.
Investigate network and security issues and provide recommendations for improvement.
Participate in Business Continuation/Disaster Recovery infrastructure planning, building, and testing.
Ensure the integrity and security of enterprise data
Manage end user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations in accordance with best practices regarding privacy, security, and regulatory compliance
Performs daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up, restored upon request, and sent off site
Anticipate, mitigate, identify, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software problems. Analyse system, server, and application, and network, performance.
Recommend, schedule, and perform software and hardware improvements, upgrades, patches, re-configurations, and/or purchases.
Develop, document, and maintain policies, procedures and associated training plans for system administration and appropriate use.
Build and deploy physical and virtual servers
Ability to perform other IT technical responsibilities assigned.

SKILLS:

Professional IT Certifications, such as: Microsoft MCP, MCSA, or MCSE,Cisco CCNA, or VMware VCP.
Experience with Windows server (2003, 2008, 2012 and 2016) platforms
Experience with Windows Security Configuration and Analysis
Experience with security tools/appliances (Firewalls, IPS,IDS), Sophos/Cyberoam firewall , Access Points preferably
Experience with Local Area Network &Inter-networking knowledge of IOS, switching (VLANs & Trunking), Routing and Port Forwarding etc.)
Experience in Advanced remote access solution implementation and support: IPSEC & SSL VPN, Remote Desktop Services, etc.
Working knowledge how to provide support for MS Active Directory including Windows domain group policies and administration
Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, FTP, RDP, POP3, SMTP, HTTP and other protocols
Experience in Virtualization Administration Hyper-V & VMware : VM build and maintenance
Experience in Storage Admin create LUNs, set permissions, expand volumes and related
Technical services and support at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, Access Point, and security.
Experience with Storage, backups and disaster recovery tools/software
Experience with SQL Server database backup and restore is an preferred
Experience with biometric and surveillance cameras is an advantage
Knowledge of emergency UPS power systemsschedule maintenance
Knowledge of and a proficiency in using Computer and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
Experience in maintain system documentation, including licenses, user manuals, hardware and software inventory, security listings, and diagrams.

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronic / Communication Engineering.

Experience : 7 to 10 Years

Job Location : Hyderabad and sometimes at Nizamabad as per project requirements.

Salary : Minimum 6 Lakhs P.A, Negotiable

2 Years minimum Contract.
