Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for an Automation / Functional QA Engineer with strong experience in mobile UI and API automation to ensure functional correctness across end-to-end user flows, including personalization and data-driven features.

Must-Have Requirements

Experience
4+ years of experience in Software Quality Engineering / Automation Testing

Mobile Automation
Hands-on experience in mobile automation using Appium or Maestro
Ability to automate mobile UI flows and validate functional behavior

API Automation
Strong experience in API testing
Hands-on with JSON payload validation, request/response verification
Experience with API automation tools such as Loadmill, RestAssured, Postman, or similar

Automation Skills
Strong scripting skills in JavaScript / TypeScript or Python
Experience executing end-to-end test scenarios combining UI and API layers

CI/CD & Execution
Experience running automation suites in CI/CD pipelines
Ability to analyze and troubleshoot automation failures

Test Engineering Practices
Experience maintaining test data sets (API payloads, rules, configurations)
Familiarity with mocking/stubbing in test environments
Experience generating automation reports and tracking test coverage

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for mobile and API layers
Execute end-to-end functional automation scenarios
Collaborate with QE Lead and Senior Automation Engineers on framework enhancements
Ensure test stability, coverage, and reporting across releases
