Job Description
Applications are invited for the post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) for the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) funded project in the Centre for Biomaterials, Cellular and Molecular Theranostics (CBCMT), Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) Vellore- 632014, Tamil Nadu
Title of the Project
:
Development of a 3D bioprinted bilayered human skin in vitro model for non-animal testing of cosmetics.
Qualification (Essential)
:
- Four years Bachelors degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences/ Masters degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences/BVSc/BPharm or Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology/Medicine or from a recognised University or equivalent, and
- Two years experience in R&D in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organisations, and Scientific activities and services
Qualification (Desirable)
:
Candidates having hands-on experience in the area of tissue engineering/biomaterials/bioprinting will be preferred
Stipend
:
Rs. 42,000/- + HRA (as per norms) for a candidate selected through-
(a) National Eligibility Tests - CSIR-UGC NET, including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or
(b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies, and Institutions.
2. For non-JRF/GATE-qualified candidates, the stipend will be paid as per the Institutes norms.
