Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Java Full Stack Developer with 7-12 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Core Java (Java 17 or 21), Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Core Java (Java 17/21).
- Apply functional programming features such as Streams, Lambdas, and Optional in development.
- Build and manage Microservices-based architectures for distributed systems.
- Design and develop RESTful APIs with a focus on performance and reliability.
- Work with Apache Kafka (producers, consumers, topics, partitions) for message streaming.
- Write and execute unit tests using JUnit or other testing frameworks.
- Develop and optimize database components using PostgreSQL (queries, indexing, performance tuning, stored procedures).
- Ensure best practices in API security, exception handling, logging, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum setup, participating in design discussions, development, and code reviews.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 7-12 years of experience in Java full stack development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Core Java (Java 17/21).
- Proficiency in Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
- Solid experience in RESTful API design and development.
- Working knowledge of Apache Kafka.
- Experience in unit testing using JUnit or similar frameworks.
- Strong skills in PostgreSQL including queries, indexing, and optimization.
- Understanding of API security, error handling, and application performance tuning.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum practices.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of logging and monitoring tools.
- Exposure to cloud-based deployment environments.
