Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement statistical and predictive models to analyze complex and large-scale datasets.
- Lead machine learning initiatives from problem definition through model development, validation, and deployment.
- Perform in-depth statistical analysis to generate actionable insights that support business and governance decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and enforce data governance standards, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and integrity.
- Define best practices for model validation, documentation, and reproducibility.
- Mentor and guide junior data scientists and analysts, promoting strong analytical and modeling methodologies.
- Review and validate analytical outputs to ensure compliance with governance and regulatory requirements.
Skills Required:
- Strong expertise in statistical modeling techniques (regression, hypothesis testing, time-series, multivariate analysis)
- Hands-on experience with traditional machine learning algorithms
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis and data interpretation
- Experience working within data governance, model risk, or compliance frameworks
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis and modeling (preferred)
- Ability to translate complex analytical results into business-friendly insights
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder collaboration skills
- High attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy and integrity
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
