Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Search Developer to join our team and contribute to the development and support of enterprise-level search solutions. You will work on implementing and optimizing high-performance search platforms using SOLR, ElasticSearch, or Opensearch, and building RESTful services that integrate with various applications.- Design, develop, and maintain scalable search solutions using Apache SOLR / ElasticSearch, or Opensearch.
- Develop and expose RESTful APIs to support search-related functionalities.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and development teams to integrate search capabilities into business applications.
- Analyze and optimize search performance, including indexing strategies, query performance, and relevance tuning.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve the search platform to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers.
- Must have experience for at least 6+ years and above.
- Strong hands-on experience in SOLR / ElasticSearch, or Opensearch.
- Solid programming experience in Java (6+ years).
- Proficiency in designing and developing RESTful web services.
- Strong understanding of search concepts like full-text search, faceted search, filters, stemming, relevance tuning, analyzers, etc.
- Experience working in agile development environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems like Git.
