Position Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to lead the design, implementation,
and optimization of scalable DevOps solutions in Microsoft Azure. This role requires deep
experience in CI/CD automation, infrastructure as code, cloud architecture, and
mentoring teams in DevOps best practices. You will play a key role in shaping our DevOps
strategy and ensuring high availability, security, and performance of our development
pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps across
multiple environments.
Architect and manage scalable Azure cloud infrastructure using IaC tools (Terraform, Bicep, ARM).
Define DevOps standards, strategies, and best practices across teams.
Collaborate with engineering, security, and product teams to enable efficient development and deployment lifecycles. Implement and manage containerized applications using Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
Optimize pipeline performance, security, and cost-eiciency.
Guide and mentor junior DevOps engineers and developers on tools, automation, and
cloud adoption.
Monitor and maintain system reliability and performance using Azure Monitor, Log
Analytics, and App Insights.
Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and operational standards through
automated checks and reporting.
Support incident management and root cause analysis for deployment or infrastructure issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
5+ years of hands-on DevOps experience with a strong focus on
Microsoft Azure.
Expert-level experience with Azure DevOps tools (Pipelines, Repos, Boards, Artifacts).
Deep knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
Strong scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
Proficient in containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, AKS, Helm).
Strong understanding of networking, security, and cloud governance within Azure.
Experience integrating automated testing, security scanning, and compliance tools into
CI/CD pipelines.
Working knowledge of source control strategies using Git and branching models.
Experience with monitoring, alerting, and incident response in production environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Azure certifications such as AZ-400 (DevOps Engineer Expert), AZ-104, or AZ-305.
Experience in hybrid cloud/on-premises deployments.
Exposure to service mesh, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
Familiarity with cost management and Azure policy enforcement tools.
