Job Description

Role:

As System Administrator III Citrix, you are responsible for performing Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Citrix infrastructure systems within a business. Analyzes and resolves problems associated with the Citrix infrastructure systems servers, hardware, applications, and software. Detects, diagnoses, and reports application and VDI related problems.

Responsibilities:

Installing, configuring, and maintaining Citrix XenApp/Desktop 7.15
Strong background in Citrix administration and understanding of scripting.
Strong knowledge in design, implementation, troubleshooting of Citrix Presentation Server, XenApp and XenDesktop. Have performed Citrix upgrade and farm migration from planning through implementation.
Performance tuning and optimizing server configurations for specific workloads.
Remediate/mitigate vulnerabilities by scheduling change requests.
Client-side configuration of XenApp/Desktop and troubleshoot various user issues.
Knowledge on Server Operating Systems Win2008R2, Win2012R2, Win2016
Experience in App and desktop visualization and configuration on server (load balancing)
Strong knowledge in Provisioning Services (PVS) with versioning, Machine Creation Services (MCS)
XenDesktop including Delivery Controllers, Provisioning Services, StoreFront servers Experience in a rapid paced, time sensitive, high-quality environment.
Strong understanding of Load Manager, Resource manager, Citrix Patch Management
Hands on experience on VMWare vSphere Client, to manage VM and build the customized templates.
Strong knowledge in Management and Troubleshooting of Persistent and Non-persistent VDI, Monthly Vdisk Updates
Data Centers with failover expectations
Good understanding of Incident, Change, Problem Management process and provide the RCAs on P1 tickets.
Good Knowledge on AWS and Microsoft AVD
Effectively lead detailed technical discussions develop, and present required briefing Materials to ensure the customer s needs met.

Required Qualifications:

8+ years of technical experience in corporate IT operations in Data Center Environment.
Independent problem solver and self starter. Strong documentation abilities necessary to ensure timely problem resolution.
Leading projects to implement new Citrix solutions
Should have experience working in Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop.
Good Knowledge of ITIL processes and implementation
Demonstrated experience in process improvement.
Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
Always driving for continuous improvement across domains
VDI build Experience (Virtual).
Desired Certifications: CCA-V CCE-V, CCP-V, VMware VCP, ITIL
