Job Description
Role & responsibilities:-
Site Execution & Supervision
- Supervise civil works including RCC, masonry, plastering, finishing, and allied activities.
- Ensure construction is carried out as per approved drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
- Coordinate daily site activities and resolve execution-related issues.
2. Labour & Contractor Management
- Allocate work to masons, carpenters, bar benders, helpers, and subcontractors.
- Monitor labour productivity and discipline at site.
- Ensure availability of manpower and tools for planned activities.
3. Quality Control
- Check line, level, alignment, and workmanship of executed works.
- Ensure proper material usage and compliance with quality standards.
- Assist engineers in inspections and rectification of defects.
4. Safety & Compliance
- Enforce site safety practices and use of PPE.
- Ensure housekeeping and safe working conditions.
- Report unsafe acts/conditions immediately.
5. Material Management
- Assist in checking material deliveries and proper storage at site.
- Monitor material consumption and minimize wastage.
- Coordinate with store and site engineer for material requirements.
6. Reporting & Coordination
- Maintain daily site progress records and labour attendance.
- Report progress, delays, and issues to the Site Engineer/Project Manager.
- Coordinate with consultants, vendors, and other trades on site.
Preferred candidate profile:- The Civil Construction Site Supervisor is responsible for supervising day-to-day construction activities at site, ensuring work is executed as per drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety norms, and agreed timelines and all packages knowledge and hand on experience such as Civil. MEP, Interiors, Finishes etc.
