Job Description
Dear Candidate,
We are hiring for SAP WM (Warehouse Management) Consultant/Senior Consultant/Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage SAP WM projects from initiation to post-implementation support, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Experience in Configuration of Storage Type, Storage Section, Storage BIN Type, SU Type, SU Management, BIN Structure, Pack Instruction, HU Management Material Master, Storage BIN Master Setup for WM.
- Physical Inventory - Diff. Types of PI (Configuration & Process)
- RICEF / Custom Dev FSD OSD, Testing Cycles (FUT, FIT, UAT, Regression)
- Print Control (Configuration & Enhancements on Customized Labels & Reports)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors, to gather business requirements and design SAP MM/WM solutions that align with organizational goals.
- Conduct detailed analysis of existing supply chain processes and systems to identify gaps and opportunities for process optimization and automation.
- Configure and customize SAP MM/WM modules to meet business requirements, including material master data management, purchasing, inventory management, goods receipt, goods issue, stock transfers, and physical inventory.
- Define and implement warehouse structures, including storage types, storage sections, storage bins, and storage unit management, to optimize warehouse operations and inventory accuracy.
- Perform data migration activities, including data extraction, cleansing, and transformation, to ensure smooth transition from legacy systems to SAP WM.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, including unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to validate the functionality and performance of SAP WM solutions.
- Provide end-user training and support during the implementation phase and post-implementation to ensure successful adoption of SAP WM systems and processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues and system defects related to SAP WM modules, working closely with technical teams and SAP support to identify root causes and implement appropriate solutions.
- Stay current with SAP MM/WM best practices, industry trends, and advancements in technology, and proactively recommend process improvements and system enhancements to optimize supply chain operations.
