Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Core Banking Technical Consultant specializing in Oracle FLEXCUBE UBS and related technologies. In this position, you will deliver expert solutions, lead technical implementations, resolve complex issues, and play a key role in client engagements. Your mix of hands-on technical skills and industry knowledge will empower clients digital journeys.
Qualifications & Skills
Mandatory:
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Oracle DB, Oracle SQL-PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Java, JavaScript, XML, Unix shell scripting (basic).
- Proven expertise with Oracle FLEXCUBE UBS Core Banking product and modules (DDA, Payments, Treasury, and Loans).
- Hands-on experience in deployments, backup/restore operations, and source control tools.
- Client-facing communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in team leadership or mentoring roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Sound design and problem-solving capabilities.
Good-to-Have:
- Working knowledge of Oracle development tools, WebLogic server deployments, and deeper Oracle Database administration.
- Functional understanding of banking systems and operations.
- Experience in developing and implementing interfaces, managing batch operations, and troubleshooting issues during testing cycles.
- Familiarity with industry security and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze customer business needs and propose Oracle solutions that align with industry best practices and the client s objectives.
- Lead or support end-to-end deployments, implementations, and production support for Oracle FLEXCUBE UBS Core and associated modules (DDA, Payments, Treasury, Loans).
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in integration, testing, and live environments.
- Conduct backup and restore operations; manage source control for ongoing projects.
- Mentor and direct project teams; share expertise to elevate team performance.
- Collaborate with the consulting sales team, providing expert input for solution design and pre-sales activities.
- Develop and implement interfaces, manage batch operations, and optimize technical processes.
- Produce clear documentation and deliver effective client presentations, ensuring alignment and successful handovers.
