Role Summary: A hands-on engineer responsible for building and maintaining modern, distributed services using Java, Spring Boot, and Azure Cloud technologies. The role focuses on end-to-end implementation from designing REST APIs and integrating with enterprise systems to ensuring reliability through secure coding, logging, and monitoring best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy microservices using Java and Spring Boot, following modular architecture principles.
Build and integrate RESTful APIs with secure authentication (OAuth 2.0 / OIDC) and proper error handling.
Containerize services using Docker and manage deployments in Kubernetes environments.
Implement distributed caching (e.g., Redis) and optimize data access for performance and scalability.
Develop integrations with messaging systems such as Kafka or Azure Event Hub for asynchronous event processing.
Apply security best practices, including input validation, encryption, and secrets management with Azure Key Vault.
Implement logging, monitoring, and ing using ELK / OpenSearch or Azure Monitor to ensure observability.
Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD automation, build pipelines, and environment configuration.
Participate in code reviews and performance tuning to maintain reliability and efficiency.
Work in an agile setup, collaborating with technical leads, architects, and QA for iterative delivery.
