Job Title:
QA Architect / Quality Engineering Architect
Role Summary
Seeking a QA Architect to define and establish an enterprise-wide Quality Engineering strategy for a global manufacturing organization. This role will be responsible for test architecture, test automation strategy, quality governance, and metrics, while embedding quality into DevOps and release pipelines. The architect will play a key role in standing up a Testing Center of Excellence (COE) and modernizing QA practices across a diverse application landscape.Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the enterprise QA strategy and test architecture aligned with digital and business goals.
• Design and implement test automation frameworks from scratch for web, API, and integration testing.
• Evaluate, recommend, and onboard test management and automation tools.
• Establish quality governance, release readiness criteria, and enterprise QA metrics.
• Embed quality practices into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (Engineering, DevOps, Product, Data).
• Support website hosting migration from Pantheon to AWS, ensuring quality and stability.
• Drive test innovation, including AI-assisted testing and modern quality engineering practices is desired.
• Build and scale a Testing COE, including standards, capability building, and mentoring.

Required Experience & Skills

• 7+ years in QA / Quality Engineering; 3+ years in an architect or lead role
• Strong experience defining enterprise QA strategies and frameworks (Java, Selenium, Cucumber etc)
• Hands-on expertise in test automation framework design
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud environments is desired
• Proven ability to define QA metrics and executive reporting
• Excellent stakeholder communication and leadership skills
