As a Senior QA Engineer , you will drive the QA roadmap, collaborate with development leaders to define quality gates, and contribute to architectural discussions. You will ensure that new features, bug fixes meet the highest standards of reliability, security, performance, and usability.

Responsibilities
- Work closely with developers, architecture teams, and product management to define acceptance criteria, quality guidelines, and automation approaches.
- Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, providing code reviews, test plan reviews, and best practices.
- Improve the automated testing solutions for .NET desktop applications (WinForms/WPF), service layers, and integration layers.
- Analyze complex requirements and break them down into efficient, maintainable test plans and automation suites.
- Own defect triage: investigate advanced issues, analyze logs, reproduce customer-reported problems, and collaborate on root-cause analysis.
- Validate end-to-end workflows involving REST/SOAP APIs, MySQL database operations, and XSLT transformations.
- Design and run performance, load, and scalability tests where required.
- Improve and maintain QA environments, CI/CD pipelines, and quality gates.
- Promote QA best practices across teams and actively contribute to improving testing processes, tooling, and methodologies.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Grooming, and Retrospectives with an emphasis on quality-focused insights.
Skills
- Bachelors or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software QA, with strong involvement in both manual and automated testing.
- Strong expertise in C#, .NET, and testing desktop applications (WinForms/WPF).
- Deep experience validating REST and SOAP APIs using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or custom scripts.
- Strong SQL skills, preferably with MySQL (queries, joins, stored procedure testing, data validation).
- Proven experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., MSTest, NUnit, Selenium, or custom frameworks).
- Working knowledge of XSLT/XPath, especially around transformation validation.
- Experience troubleshooting complex multi-layered systems (desktop UI, business logic, databases, APIs).
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes (OKE), or containerized test environments is a strong advantage.
- Scripting in Python or Lua is a plus.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and version-control workflows (Git).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead discussions, influence decisions, and collaborate across teams.
- Experience in mentoring, technical leadership, or driving QA initiatives is strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for building reliable, high-quality software.
