Role/Designation: Manager / Senior Manager Coding
Department: Quality
Reporting To: Director Quality
Location: Aurangabad / Navi Mumbai / Hyderabad
Specialties: Home Health
Compensation: Open for discussion
Competency & Knowledge Requirements :
- Strong domain expertise and process knowledge in RCM for Hospital Facility and Physician coding.
- In-depth knowledge of specialties in Home Health.
- Thorough understanding of Human Anatomy, Physiology, Pathophysiology, Pharmacology, Diagnostic Studies, Conservative & Surgical Treatments.
- Ability to interpret Operative Reports and other clinical documentation with accuracy.
- Awareness of compliance risks: up-coding, down-coding, fraud/abuse, inflated documentation, HIPAA and CLIA regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of 100+ Quality Analysts (QAs).
- Build an inspiring team environment fostering open communication and collaboration.
- Plan QA capacity based on project requirements.
- Delegate tasks, set clear deadlines, and monitor progress.
- Drive quality control in line with client SLAs.
- Ensure effective implementation of the Quality Management System.
- Monitor team performance and report metrics regularly.
- Conduct random audits of auditors and perform RCA on audit observations.
- Identify knowledge gaps, design action plans, and collaborate with quality leads & operations managers for closure.
- Provide coaching, training, and mentoring to QAs.
- Address team concerns, resolve conflicts, and maintain a healthy work environment.
- Recognize and reward high performance.
- Encourage innovation, process improvements, and team-building initiatives.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
