Job Description
Specific US experience is most desirable
- Responsible for end to end project design and delivery for Roadway design tasks;
- Responsible for managing technical aspects of larger and/or more complex tasks or components of projects, meeting financial, quality, timeframe and health and safety objectives
- Coordinating with multiple offices in multiple geographical locations to coordinate and execute complex Design Build projects
- Preparation / Finalization of various roadway related drawings at various stages of projects;
- Computation of quantities;
- Preparation of design reports; and,
- Ability to understand existing condition reports and surveys;
- Coaching and mentoring team members.
- Ability to lead and design D & B projects
- Should have handled minimum of 2 D & B projects-overseas preferably for ANA in Infrastructure Business.
- Should have worked for US Projects and must be conversant with AASHTO and various DOT specifications and standards.
- Good knowledge, hands-on experience on MicroStation (Mandatory), and knowledge of OpenRoads.
- Knowledge of Bentley tools (e.g., LumenRT, ProjectWise) is an advantage.
- Experience in MS Office software including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Strong and effective communicator
- Working in a team environment
- Experience working on international projects. USA projects is desirable.
- B.E / BTech in Civil Engineering (Mandatory) with a Master s in Transportation Engineering (Desirable)
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in a Design Consulting Environment.
- Minimum of 7 years of working experience for International Design projects and a minimum of 2 years of working experience for USA projects (desirable) in delivering various design tasks.
- Having work experience in Large Design Projects in the lead role is an added advantage.
