Job Title: Project Manager- Data Science, AI, Power BI
Shift Timings: 11:00 am to 8:00 pm[Flexible]

Position Overview:As a Data Science AI - Project Manager at Primotech, you will be at the forefront of managing and executing complex data science and artificial intelligence projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, product managers, and stakeholders, to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet the highest quality standards. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge in AI and data science, along with strong project management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Management:
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and team members.
- Monitor and track project progress, ensuring alignment with project objectives and deadlines.
- Team Leadership and Coordination:
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of data scientists, AI engineers, and analysts.
- Facilitate regular team meetings, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and external partners.
- Provide regular project updates, including status reports, risk assessments, and budgetary considerations.
- Address and resolve any issues or concerns that arise during the project lifecycle.
- Technical Oversight:
- Ensure that AI and data science solutions are designed and implemented according to best practices and industry standards.
- Oversee the development of models, algorithms, and data pipelines, ensuring they meet the project requirements and objectives.
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to troubleshoot and optimize solutions.
Budget and Resource Management:
- Manage project budgets, including forecasting, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Allocate resources efficiently and effectively to meet project demands and constraints.
- Quality Assurance:
- Establish and enforce quality assurance processes to ensure the accuracy and reliability of AI and data science deliverables.
- Conduct reviews and evaluations to maintain high standards of work and continuous improvement.
- Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and issues related to project scope, timelines, and resources.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project outcomes.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including requirements, design specifications, and progress reports.
- Prepare and present detailed reports and analyses to stakeholders, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field. Masters degree or PMP certification is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years specifically managing AI and data science projects.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of AI, machine learning, and data science concepts. Familiarity with data analysis tools, programming languages (e.g., Python, R), and AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Project Management Skills: Proven experience in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum). Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time.
- Leadership: Excellent leadership and team management skills. Ability to motivate and guide team members towards project goals.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Analytical Skills: Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities. Ability to make data-driven decisions and recommendations.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
