Job Title: Google Cloud Platform Engineer

Job Summary: The Google Cloud Platform Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure our cloud solutions are scalable, secure, and efficient.

Key Responsibilities:
Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on GCP.
Collaboration: Work closely with software developers, DevOps, and IT teams to ensure cloud solutions meet business requirements.
Automation: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes.
Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize cloud resources for cost and performance.
Security: Implement and manage security best practices to protect cloud infrastructure and data.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud infrastructure and processes.
Innovation: Stay updated with the latest GCP features and technologies, and recommend improvements to existing systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform services and tools.
Strong understanding of cloud architecture and best practices.
Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
GCP certification (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer).
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of networking and security principles in a cloud environment.
