Lead SOA @ IndiaMART

Job Description

Role & responsibilities:

• Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of microservices and SOA-based solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineers and senior engineers.
• Define and enforce coding standards, architectural guidelines, and best practices across the SOA platform.
• Collaborate with architects, product managers, and stakeholders to refine SOA strategy and roadmap.
• Foster a culture of high-quality engineering, clean architecture, and test-driven development.
• Oversee system performance, scalability, and reliability, ensuring solutions meet SLAs and business requirements.
• Lead code reviews, design sessions, and technical discussions.
• Ensure comprehensive documentation of processes, services, and integrations to build a strong knowledge base.
• Stay ahead of emerging trends in SOA, microservices, cloud-native development, and AI-assisted engineering.

Skills Required:

Must Have Skills:

• Strong proficiency in at least one backend programming language (e.g., Golang preferred, Java, Node.js, or Python).
• Proven experience designing and implementing SOA and microservices-based architectures.
• Expertise in API design principles (REST/SOAP/GraphQL) and best practices.
• Strong experience with database schema design and optimization.
• Hands-on expertise with message brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc.).
• Understanding of prompt engineering and ability to write optimized prompts. Experience using ChatGPT, Lovable, LLM tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.

Good To Have:

• Hands-on knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for SOA/microservices deployments.

Education: B.E./B.Tech (CS/IT)
