Backend Java Developer (AWS) @ Puresoftware

Job Description

• 5+ years of professional experience in Java development with strong object-oriented design and clean code practices.


• Expertise in Java 11+ and REST API development.


• 2+ years of production experience with Vert.x (Core, Web, EventBus etc..).


• Deep understanding of AWS cloud services and cloud-native design patterns.


• Solid understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and asynchronous communication.


• Strong skills in multithreading, memory management, and performance optimization in Java.


• Strong experience with relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL).


• Experience with NoSQL databases such as Firestore, MongoDB, or Redis.


• Familiarity with SQL query optimization, indexing, and data modeling for both RDBMS and NoSQL.


• Proficient in using Git, Maven/Gradle, JUnit, and CI/CD pipelines.


• Good understanding of containerization with Docker with logging and monitoring tools like Cloud watch, Prometheus, or Grafana.


• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and system performance tuning skills.
