Job Description
A) Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases using Selenium and other testing tools.
- Work closely with the development team to understand requirements and ensure thorough testing coverage.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
- Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Develop and maintain test scripts, test plans, and other test artifacts such as test data, data validation, etc.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on improving software quality and testability.
- Collaborate with other team members to improve automation processes and enhance testing efficiency.
- Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software testing.
B) Skill Set :
General :
- 7-8 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on both manual and automation testing.
- Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver and experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Experience with test management tools such as Azure DevOps
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Manual Testing Skills:
- Requirement analysis and validation.
- Test case design and execution.
- Defect reporting and tracking.
- Functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Cross-browser and cross-device testing.
- Test planning and documentation.
Selenium Automation Testing Skills:
- Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver.
- Experience with test scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#).
- Understanding of automation frameworks (e.g., TestNG, JUnit).
- Knowledge of continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
- Ability to design and develop automated test scripts.
- Experience in creating reusable and maintainable automation scripts.
- Integration of automated tests into the build process.
- Troubleshooting and resolving automation script issues.
- Familiarity with Page Object Model (POM) design pattern.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
